A little boy who DID make it into the world, despite the uncertainty of life here in Swaziland.

- I met Samu when we first came to Nhlulweni. Up until a week ago, she came every Monday and Friday to clean and do the washing at our host family's house. I baked bread today and randomly decided to take her a loaf. When we showed up at her ekhaya with bread in hand, we found her with her new baby boy! She had given birth yesterday afternoon. I was so surprised since she had told me her due date was still a month away and yet it was so perfect and just the encouragement needed after the loss of the week. Walking home we realized we would have the chance to see this little boy grow to be a toddler. I can't wait.
